Cath is a fully qualified acupuncturist with a First-Class BSc (Hons) degree in Traditional and Five Element Acupuncture from the internationally acclaimed College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, Berkshire. She also holds a Licentiate in Acupuncture and has additional training in women’s health and the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
Her approach to health and wellbeing has been strongly influenced by holistic practices she encountered whilst living in, and travelling around, South and East Asia. These experiences cultivated a deep appreciation of the mind-body connection and led her to a career supporting patients on their individual health journeys.
With over 20 years’ experience in complementary healthcare, Cath is also an experienced Iyengar yoga teacher, massage therapist, and reflexologist. She draws on this integrated background to support patients with a wide range of physical and emotional health challenges, including chronic pain and injury.
Cath works with a wide spectrum of health concerns, specialising in women’s health, such as gynaecology, fertility and IVF, pregnancy, and menopause. She also supports patients with stress-induced issues, sleep disorders, mental health concerns, addictions, digestive conditions and musculoskeletal injuries and recovery. Her treatments may include moxibustion, electroacupuncture, guasha, cupping, or tuina.
She is a registered member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), the UK’s leading regulatory body for traditional acupuncture. She is also listed on the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) register, demonstrating her commitment to the highest standards of professional practice.
